Disneyland

One of the best and most popular places to go for a family vacation to remember is to go to the “happiest place on earth” – Disney! The two big Disney attractions are Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, and Disney World in Orlando, Florida. For this blog, we’ll be focusing on the Disneyland attractions in California. People go there to have fun with their families, make memories and see all the amazing attractions that Disneyland has to offer.

Disneyland is a bit smaller and has 55 attractions and Disneyland California Adventure has 36 attractions.

Despite Disneyland being smaller, it’s still huge, and they knew people would get hungry, so there are plenty of restaurants scattered across the park. There are 123 restaurants at Disneyland and approximately 14 vegetarian restaurants. Disney has a partnership with Impossible, which is a plant-based faux meat option that has become very popular over the years. In 2019, Disney said that they would be giving more plant-based options due to the increased demand and due to many of their customers being vegan or having a plant-based diet. Currently, there are no fully vegan restaurants, but there are options that offer Impossible and other substitutions at Disneyland.

They have a variety of different kinds of eating options, such as table service – requires a reservation, but you can always see if they have a last-minute opening and quick service – doesn’t require a reservation and can be grabbed for a quick, but satisfying meal. We will let you know which restaurants are table service and which are quick food options for each park.

We want to shout out another vegan blog, Happiest Vegan On Earth, which also wrote about vegan-friendly Disney options. After doing some digging we have found some restaurants at Disneyland and California Adventure that offer the best options for people who are vegan/plant-based! Do keep in mind we’ve included locations so you know exactly where each restaurant is!
